Mentions Section Checker

Mentions Section Checker finds Facebook pages whose Mentions section is open — pages that let anyone post a mention on them. Search pages by keyword in any niche, optionally narrow by category, then select the pages you want to check.

For each selected page the tool opens its Mentions tab in a background browser tab using your own logged-in Facebook session and checks one thing: is the "Write something to <Page>" visitor composer present? If it is, the page is marked Open (you can post a mention there); if it is missing, the page is Closed — even when old tagged posts still appear on the tab. The background tab is closed automatically and nothing is ever posted or changed.

It reuses the same page discovery and category enrichment as the Viral Pages Finder, so you can sweep a whole niche and instantly see which pages accept mentions. Pair it with Mentions Posts to publish on the open pages it finds.
